SLA

HK PRECISE PROTOTYPE adopt SLA  (stereolithography)technology  (it is a kind of 3D rapid prototype process which is mature ,deepened study and widely used in the world )which control laser beam by computer to scan the surface of  prototype made from photosensitive resin (ABS/transparent) point by point. Thin layer of resin (about 0.1 mm)scanned will generate light polymerization then curing and  become a thin layer of prototype.Move down the workbench to a thin layer which is with same thickness so that  the surface of the resin which is well solidified can lay another layer of liquid to go on the scanning of next layer,repeating this process until the prototype finished. SLA laser printing is suitable for prototype whose structure is complicated and requirement  for workmanship is  exquisite, it can also process much details quickly which is out of CNC reach thus reducing the workload greatly.



SLS

selective laser sintering referred to as SLS parts is a molding system which uses infrared laser to sinter powder material(nylon, nylon fiber, nylon carbon fiber, nylon aluminum powder, PS material) directly.




Analysis of SLS

According to the statistical analysis, the latest F - 35 Lightening II aircraft has 1600 parts made of SLS prototype process quickly . EADS, parent company of Airbus,has already began to study 3D printing technology to make aircraft , as it can not only reduce cost, but also make every part light about 65% compared with traditional manufacturing method .
