Swiss Machining Service
With the latest CNC Swiss turning equipment, we can provide our customers with high precision machining of small and complex parts. Our equipment ranges from 16mm to 32mm automatic feeders with a maximum movement of 9 axes and always maintains (0.00015") tolerances. We routinely process a variety of materials, including aluminum, brass, plastic, stainless steel, alloy steel, titanium and high nickel alloys. Precision Swiss CNC machining is suitable for longer parts or smaller and more complex parts than traditional CNC lathes because Swiss CNC automatic lathes rotate the metal bar at high speed while moving the tool to cut the metal. This faster process saves time and allows for tighter control for greater accuracy. This type of machining, also known as Swiss turning or Swiss threading, accommodates many tools, allowing more operations to be done in one cycle while eliminating secondary machining and setup time.

Our Swiss machines can perform typical boring, deburring, drilling, knurling, milling, reaming and turning operations. This type of equipment provides other functions including broaching, deep hole drilling, gear hobbing, grooving, thread cutting, tapping, thread milling and gear hobbing. They are capable of continuous or high-speed machining with 9-axis and live tools. We use Swiss machining for steel, aluminium, brass, copper, iron and titanium materials. We can also perform these operations with polymers such as ABS, acetal, fiberglass, and nylon. Swiss machined to close tolerances (+0.0001"), parts up to 36" in length and 1.25" in diameter. Our team produces prototypes, connectors, fasteners, fittings and shafts in small batches, or large batches. While we generally quote by job, timing may vary depending on the complexity of the project and the time frame required.
